Good morning everyone and Happy Super Bowl Sunday! I can't wait to enjoy the game today with my friends! I'm making a 9 layer Mexican Taco Dip and some football shaped peanut butter cookies, with chocolate frosting and white piping to make it look like a football. I hope you all are doing something fun for the game.
As must of you know, today was the launch of Jason Wu for Target. I woke up around 6am this morning and headed to my local Target. I waited in my car until I saw the first couple of cars pull up that looked like it could be someone wanting the same thing I was waiting for...Jason Wu! I immediately got out of my car and headed toward the store and started a line. Then, not even a couple minutes later, there was about 30 people behind me. So glad I was number 1 in line! I got all of the items I was eyeing, except for two, that I was hoping for...and some more goodies I wasn't planning on getting. I'm not sure if I will be keeping everything just yet, but I wanted to grab whatever I thought looked cute and then I can always return it later. The two items I missed out on are the Cat Tote (which there was one left and as I'm reaching for it another woman grabbed it) and the Flared Dress in Cream, which no store within a 150 mile radius of me had anyways. All of the women were very nice and there was no pushing or shoving. We all exchanged sizes in the dressing room as well so we could see what size fit us better.
I'm a little disappointed that Jason Wu for Target runs large. All of the X-Small's I purchased are a little big and baggy and the dresses that I purchased in a size 2 were a little big as well. I wish the sizing would have been done a little better. I recommend sizing down 1 or 2 sizes in the T-shirts, and 1 size in dresses. The skirts and blouses however, seemed to fit pretty TTS. The couple of blouses I got were snug in the arms but fit perfect everywhere else. Did you get anything from the Jason Wu for Target collection either online or in-store?
